i honestly believe that there might be a bias against puerto rican fighters in the boxing media.they never really give enough credit to guys like tito.after tito fought oscar he pretty much went up in weight and was beating the **** out of guys, he wasn't really consdered p4p number 1, it was always a mosley or maybe even a roy jones who at that point had relegated himself to fighting guys like harding (round 2000, 2001).

you could attribute that to guys believing he lost to oscar, who as far as I'm concerned would have gotten blasted by the same media had he won that fight for trying to win it the way he did, but tito was fighting top guys at welter for years, with tons of defenses at welter, and still it was oscar, mosley or someone else considered the p4p best.

that's how i see it at least.

I think that all the tough times and crazy **** that has happened to Cotto up to this point in his career has made him extremely motivated.

I believe he wants to make a statement in the Pac fight. Not with words, but with fists.

Props to Cotto, a real warrior who fights real competition.
