serious question. Would you be upset if Floyd decided to fight Clottey next? Would you be happy because its a top notch opponent and a real WW force or would you be upset because its not Mosley or the Pac-Cotto winner. This is a real thread, all jokes aside

I would be upset because floyd stans justify floyd ducking mosley because mosley isn't a "ppv star".... but mosley has been on more ppvs than clottey.... so how the **** can floyd fight clottey instead of mosley?

I think people are underrating this PPV. Floyd has a good name right now and I think Clottey is a better self promoter then you guys give him credit for. I think people will fall in love with him on 24/7 when they hear the way he talks, see that he fears nothing, has the body of a greek god, and just looks like he could kill someone. I think people would beleive that he could beat Floyd and I think alot of media people would boost it up and think that Clottey could give him hell. I think that would make the fight sell well or atleast solidly. Also, there is no way that everyone on here wouldnt buy it as the fight got close. Seriously think about it for a second. Floyd in the ring with Clottey? Floyd could lose. You have to buy that fight

DLT, Mayweather didn't have so much trouble against a (Close to SMW) DLH. In fact, DLH (At that time) had better legs then SSM has right now, Shane has none to be honest. Shane isn't something Mayweather should worry about, I'd give Cotto better chances and Cotto's chances are slim. You seem worried of Shane for some strange reason.

Thats not completely true. I always say that I do beleive that Floyd was worried about fighting Margarito & Cotto because of there size & style but has never feared Mosley. I truly beleive that he has always wanted a Mosley fight and I could also see Cotto giving Floyd way more problems than Mosley. However, Ive said it a million times and Ill say it again. I do not at all like the thought of Floyd going from a little weak JMM straight to a strong fast beast like Mosley without fighting a Berto, Collazo, or Clottey 1st. The same goes for Cotto. I just dont like Floyd coming off of 2 years, fighting a small guy, and going straight to a guy who has MW type strength. Sure Floyd could win but I could also see him losing under those circumstances. HOwever, if he fights one of those other guys 1st then I think he kills Shane because his body will be fully adjusted and it wont be a shock to his system.

Pac is the x factor. I definatly wouldnt be upset if he fought Pac next and went straight to Mosley but I honestly still may feel more comfortable with him fighting one of those other WW's after the Pac fight and then Mosley. It just sucks that its hard for all this to happened because of Shane's age. His age means you need to make the fight quickly. Keep in mind that I also say that Berto may beat Shane or give him mad fits. I think his style and skill is a bad matchup for Shane but if he gave people trouble then everyone would say that Shane is washed up when really I think Berto just matches up well with him anyways
