Mayweather Promotions wasnt the lead promoter in the JMM fight, it hardly exists

Tired of hearing people say this ****, puppets.

One of the conditions for Golden Boy Promotions getting JMM a Mayweather fight was allowing Mayweather to show case his developing promotional company through out this fights segment, falsely allowing that name to carry the title of "lead promoter". Mayweather promotions would have never been able to put an event like this together. It takes alot of money, experience, and connections to do so, GBP has all. Mayweather had to give up $5 million of his paycheck to the IRS and the C.E.O. of "Mayweather Promotions" is his corner man for ***'s sake! The undercard was all GBP except lock, sponsors were GBP attained.

GBP was lead promoter of his fight with ricky hatton when neither fighter was signed with golden boy and ill bet that his next fight will have GBP involved. You google mayweather promotions and no website comes up, you want to send a resume to their offices, they dont have any.
Dan Rafael(ESPN Boxing):I don't know about you, but it seems as though every time I see a segment from Mayweather's camp, somebody is wearing a "Mayweather Promotions" shirt or a sign for the company has been strategically placed in view. And with every piece of promotional material I receive and on every conference call I join, I keep hearing about Mayweather Promotions this and Mayweather Promotions that. Here's the problem: Mayweather Promotions is not a licensed promoter, according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, nor will it be in time for this fight.

And remember when he was bragging about how he promoted Lil Waynes tour? No he didnt, his manager Al Haymon did in association with Live Nation.
Lil Wayne will likely also earn a spot on Billboard's year-end list of the top 25 grossing tours, a rare feat for a hip-hop artist. The rapper's 2008-2009 tour was split into three legs (starting Dec. 14, 2008, and wrapping Sept. 6) and featured support on various dates by Keyshia Cole, T-Pain, Gym Class Heroes, Keri Hilson, Young Jeezy, Drake, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, Jeremih and Pleasure P. Haymon Events/Live Nation exclusively promoted all of the shows.

yeah, his relationship with GBP has become more strained, as of late. You can tell by just looking at the postfight conference footage. But as long as there is money involved, they will find a way to coexist.

Floyd uses Rafael Garcia as his cutman, not Ellerbe. Ellerbe just gives encouragement and does minor stuff like massaging, etc.

Garcia isn't the CEO of Mayweather Promotions.

to inform those who care. if you turn on the TV, you are going to look on your TV guide for something that you care about enough to watch, all other chanels will be ignored. these forums are the same thing, thats why i dont understand why people come into threads and say "who cares about this". why wont those same people call the TV shows they are not interested and say "who cares about night line news".

              This is ancient information. Yawn.

Mayweather Promotions is not a licensed promoter in Nevada. Nor have they ever been. It is basically a pass-through comoany. Yet, Floyd gets a promoters cut without any of the financial risk.
