Danny Williams, Ross Minter Set to Call Time on Careers

Danny Williams is close to announcing his retirement from the sport of boxing after suffering the ignominy of defeat at the hands of a relative novice in Carl Baker. Williams, 36, lost in the quarterfinals of the Prizefighter tournament last Friday night, he was floored twice and dropped a three-round decision to his opponent, who is not in Danny’s class. I think that in the Tyson fight, Tyson, who hadn't trained was still beating Williams up until he tore cor broke a ligamnt or tendon in his left leg. The point in time when it happened was very noticeable. I see,m to recall [and I can be corrected on that] that he had Williams in a corner on the left side of the screen and was about to clobber him when he pulled up to a halt.

Nutritionist is not a protected title in the UK, so Ross Minter could have been working with a complete quack without knowing about it. Does anyone know the names or institutions of the people he consulted? Anyone associated with, or trained by, the Institute of Optimum Nutrition should be avoided, in my opinion.

Seems most likely that he just needed a reason to justify his retirement due to niggling injury.
