Cuban fighters make a big mistake by settling in Miami. Too much "Cubaneo" , they are celebrated as stars just for sticking it to the Cuban government by leaving. It's too easy to get caught up in the Miami lifestyle and not focus on boxing. With so many Spanish speakers around they neglect to learn English which is very important for building fans , Cubans , oddly enough, aren't a boxing crazy people . I'll never understand it, but baseball is their thing. You're never going to see a stadium full of Cuban boxing fans in the U.S. , so these guys need to learn English to appeal to a larger fan base. Morrell was smart to go to Minnesota. Anywhere BUT Miami.
