Shane is the #1 WW in the world right? Pac-Floyd is a WW fight rght? So basically the winner of Pac-Floyd would be the #2 WW. So here is my question why not get the #1 WW out of the way right now? Pac-Floyd is a huge event. Maybe the biggest in history. But, if Floyd beats Mosley first that would make Pac-Floyd even bigger. Pac-would be the top 2 WW fighting and the 2 top p4p fighting

Just think outside the box for second. If Floyd beats Pac. Fans would say the #1 WW is still out there? If Pac beats Floyd fans would say ok whats next the #1 WW is still out there? So why not get rid of the #1 WW right now? If you do that it would make Pac-Floyd even bigger. So why not do it now?

It really makes all the sense in the world for Floyd-Mosley to happen now. Money wise, ranking wise, and legacy wise. That fight should be next. So I don't understand why Floyd fans don't want this to happen. Unless if deep down there is a little doubt. Deep deep down there is fear that Shane could pull of the upset and beat Floyd. And, if that happens there would be no question who the best WW is, there is no Floyd-Pac mega fight, and the possibility of everybody being wrong about Floyd. That is the only thing that I could think of Floyd fans not wanting this fight to happen next.

But again, he called out everyone just to make a statement. He said he'd fight Casamayor in his next fight as well when he was at Lightweight, and that never happened. The Kosta Tszu fight was actually at one point in the works, but somehow that fight never took place either.

One thing I've learned with Floyd in the years I've been following him is to take everything he says with a grain of salt until proven otherwise. He knew all along the Oscar fight would put him over the top. Adding the fact that Oscar himself stood to make Millions fighting Floyd, why would he throw Mosley in there jeopardizing his own big payday?

Mosley's fought the best of the best his entire career. Floyd in no way has ever been a dude that people duck more than people actually wanting to get in the ring with him. Floyd if anything is the one who people question about who he hasn't fought. You don't really hear that about Mosley because his track record speaks for itself.

Yea Floyd is probably in a no win situation, but what the **** is he gonna do, retire? Yea mosley is not the fighter he once was and pac is the smaller guy, these are facts, but what are his options? If he doesn't fight mosley or cotto/pac he should just retire then. He'll get credit if he beats mosley but people will always wonder (and rightfully so); what if mosley was in his prime? Could the outcome have been any different? Nothing wrong with pondering this.
