    Soliman is just another Eastman...

"the TRUE middleweight that will test and possibly beat Hopkins...the TRUE middleweight that Hopkins has been ducking..."

the second Hopkins shuts out Soliman, you guys will be talking about "Soliman who?...Hopkins needs to step it up vs a Sturm or Tito"...

Compare and contrast the two fighters; and more importantly, how they would pose a similar non-existent threat to Hopkins.

If you answer correctly, I will give you 75,000 points.

I wouldn't exactly say that he is another Eastman because he lost to Eastman once.

But are you talking about fighting in other countries.

-Don't think he hits hard enough to hurt Hopkins
-Hopkins is versitile enough to outpoint him
-Has not beaten anyone that would make anyone believe he could beat Hopkins
-Lost to Eastman (though 4+ years ago)

just not proven to the point where he couldn't somehow "expose" Hopkins as fraud like some people are saying

I am not even looking for the 75k points...I have only seen two of Soliman's fights...I just cannot stand to see people build up an opponent, that opponent loses, then people write off that opponent like he was really nothing to begin with...

That is worth 50,000. Now if you please. Elaborate on Eastman.

I guess those are the perks of being an underdog, they have nothing to lose.

William Joppy lost to Trinidad before Trinidad lost to Hopkins, Joppy beat Eastman before Hopkins beat him, Eastman beat Solimon before he lost to Hopkins, Oscar lost to Trinidad before losing to Hopkins. (confused)

But I would forgive him fighting him, if the Trinidad vs. Hopkins rematch is a sure thing.

                  Eastman, tall and rangy...wasn't enough...

                  Eastman, a true middleweight...wasn't enough...

                  Eastman, a good/decent puncher...didn't hurt X...

Eastman, a fit physical specimen...tired late from missing...

Eastman, desire, chin, courage, hunger as seen in the press conferences...that Eastman disappeared once Hopkins rolled one of his punches off his shoulder and popped him with a left hook...

Hopkins has beaten better fighters than Soliman...more skilled fighters than Soliman...fighters who hit harder than Soliman...

this is not a "Soliman would NEVER ever had the chance to beat Hopkins" post...

this is more of a "Soliman has not given anyone much reason to believe he is any more of a threat than Eastman"...

people are still picking Tito to destroy Hopkins for Lord's sake...

not the most intelligent or in depth response in the world...but I just cannot see what Soliman has that would make me believe he is anymore of a threat than anyone else Hopkins has fought...

that is just me...maybe I am missing something

True, but fighters can change. Soliman lost to Eastman in his 16th pro fight, and he hasn't lost since 2001.
