Floyd Mayweather Should Fight Shane Mosley, Says Arum

floyds ***** ass needed to stay retired...he came back cuz he was broke. Gimme a break. Dude gets no respect from me..

At least he wasn't on a corner begging. And what fighter is going to fight for free? Everyone's got bills to pay.

If you read between the lines in this story, what Arum is really saying is that he is not yet ready to sacrifice Pacquaio to Mayweather because he wants to squeeze all the money he can out of Pacquaio before Mayweather beats his ass and ruins everything. If the situation were reversed, Arum would be screaming about the PPV numbers and how Pacquaio deserves more because of them.

As far as Mosley is concerned, I am sure Mayweather will fight him, but he will do it in his own time. As someone on this site said, when Floyd needed Mosley, Mosley had a toothache. Now Mosley needs Floyd, and he is bitching because Floyd won't jump at the "golden opportunity" of fighting Mosley for one third of the money he would make against Pacquaio or half the money he would make against Cotto.

If Cotto beats Pac, Mayweather will fight Cotto next. If Pac beats Cotto, Mayweather will likely fight Mosley next because Arum will squeeze another money-making opportunity out of Pac against some stiff before he sacrifices him to Mayweather.

And wasn't it Arum, Roach, and many "other people" on certain forums claiming Mayweather-Marquez would fail like the Titanic?

So after watching how Floyd handled Marquez, now he says Floyd should concentrate on Mosley and other welters as if Cotto and Pacquiao are not welters?

It's easy to see what he's on about.

I say sure, why not fight Mosley, but why not after the winner of Pacquiao-Cotto? There's much more money there than with a fight with
Mosley.

PacBoy sounds ******ed to me. Arum is afraid of Mayweather and mad because Floyd left him. Mayweather is too smart for a dumb promoter like Arum controlling his money and continue to hold him back. first of all floyd is the best arum. and second he can't fight the best becuase bob won't allow the winner between cotto and pac which would be the best. bob knows that floyd will spank both and is using the money or mosley to **** up the mega fight.

I agree, I would love to see that fight... I mean I am more interested in the Pacquiao vs Cotto winner but if Floyd and Shane fight in say January then the winner of that can fight the winner of Pacquiao vs Cotto in June or something.
