If you choose Ratings Maybe PPV has a forum open for discussions you can post numbers about
Maybe the post doesnt make sense because I was using parallel reasoing to mirror the logic you were using, showing that it was illogical.
PPV numbers and boxing are interrelated, and important when you discuss purse splits and popularity of fighters.

You are the guy who made a thread about the ringside seats costing more for Cotto v Pac than FMJ v Marquez. Hypocrite.

There is one thing I still don't understand. Yesterday there was an article here on BoxingScene that said that Floyd wasn't going to wait for the Cotto/Pac winner and he wasn't going to fight Mosley either... so who the hell is he going to fight? Is there anybody that's a bigger money draw than those three? Is there anybody else who has a chance at beating PBF? (Don't say PWill... his ass belongs in the upper divisions and I'm pretty sure PBF wouldn't fight him either). So who's he going to fight? I know people are tired of this joke, but I'm really wondering if he's going to call out Calderon next.

That should only be of importance to the fighters and promoters.

Fans use it to justify why a fight shouldn't get made.

One particular fighter even uses it as well,

"Cotto, he needs to get his PPVs up".

Floyd should fight Shane. Not because Bob said so but because there is general interest in the fight now and with Floyds drawing power it should be ridiculously sucessful. I do wonder though what Arum thinks Floyds split against Pac should look like these days. I also think an impressive win over Mosley would make the Pac showdown even less likely.

i remember when floyd was retired bob said this himself that anybody that fights pac would get no more the 35 to pacs 65 including mayweather.and now he's complaining that pbf wants 60-40. basically he knows that cotto nor pac can beat floyd and wants mosley to do it to save his fighters.

Floyd looking for Berto or Diaz not a real fight

EXACTLY.. Thank you Arum.. It's no secret anymore Floyd.. It's obvious Floyd won't fight the best. It's that simple. There's no mention of his next possible opponent because his camp is thinking of another excuse to fight a Berto or Juan Diaz.

The biggest hurdle to make that fight is the money. Mayweather, on more than one occasion, has gone on the record and made it clear that he won’t take a 50-50 deal to fight Pacquiao. He often cites his pay-per-view numbers as a big factor in demanding more money than Manny. In at least two interviews, Mayweather has taken the position of demanding at least a 60-40 split in his favor. [details]
