David squares up at times and does some things wrong but its not like you can do anything about it. Its not like he doesn't move his head and doesn't have skills. You can box pretty and move and groove all u want, but he makes u fight at a pace you don't wanna fight at. Lots of guys can do 12 rounds, but its a easy 12. They may think they can jab and box and stall him and slow the pace down, But mentally, he's ready for 12 barrera/morales type rounds, and a lot of fighters can't do that kinda 12 round fight. Then u have to reach to land punches on him and if u do get in close, he's more dangerous on the inside. Big up to Andrade for his efforts. I hope he comes back stronger. I feel like maybe coming off facing Demond Nicholson wasn't enough to prepare Andrade for David. Demond is a good guy but style wise not close to David. Whereas David came off of Plant who is a skilled guy who can move and box so he was better prepared for Amdrade.

Actually Benavidez started off very slow he even admitted himself in the interviews afterwards
He stopped him in 6 hardly slow, he went right to the center of the ring to get on Andrade who actually helped him by engaging when most people myself included expect him off the backfoot trying to use the jab to keep him at bay and maybe pick him off with power punches as he came in.

Physically David is naturally bigger but Andrade's skills could not overcome that.
Lara couldn't overcome Angulo in a ring under 20 feet.

Boxer Puncher > Pressure Fighter > Pure Boxer > Boxer Puncher

Slick Boxer uses ring size to compensate for a Pressure Fighter.

That ring is so small Benavidez is literally telegraphing rights and Andrade can't get out of the way. Show me a fight where Andrade can't get away from a guy telegraphing the same punch over and over.

The difficulty he was expecting from Andrade...will probably be found against Morrell.

Andrade was more offensive than defensive during that fight. He wasn't even counterpunching and came out too fast. Maybe it was the wrong tactic.

Some people made Andrade sound like he was on the level of BHop defensively. I strongly felt Benavidez would break through his guard but i thought it would take a few more rounds

On a sidenote does anyone know where i can rewatch this fight?

Stopping Andrade in six has nothing to do with David stating he started off the fight slow,,,,
                Anyways That's your opinion
David Benavidez himself said he took his time and stated off slow

It doesn't matter what he says when we saw what we saw, what a weird position to argue.

David definitely learned some things from the plant fight. I liked his right hand within the first 10 seconds of round 1 he started very fast it took him about 6 rounds to get going against plant whereas with andrade he was on him straight away.

His right hand is really developing nicely now I spotted a few variations of it even a few ggg style overhand rights. He actually knocked andrade doing this by throwing it slightly angled making him think a body shot was coming to drop the elbow and hand guarding up top. Similar to canelo dropping jermell

I saw Benavidez taking his time with the Jab & he considered it slow & he's the one actually in the fight
