“There’s people behind him that talk like that – they want him to say all these things. He doesn’t have a big profile, so they just want a big-money fight. That’s all. He’s not a big name – he's really a nobody. But I’m gonna fight him and I’m gonna knock him out. I’m gonna stop him.”

Prograis last month agreed promotional terms with Matchroom and DAZN over Top Rank and ESPN largely because of the regular dates they can offer him and their plans to showcase him in his home city of New Orleans.

“Listen, y’all keep talking – saying what y’all want,” Prograis, five years older than Matias, continued. “Eventually, we’re gonna fight, and I’m gonna knock him out.
Matias was offered to sign with Matchroom but for whatever reason it didn't happen - so now you have an opposing promoter situation because Matias' promoter, while independent, has largely been featured on PBC cards.

I believe Ramirez has lost the fire.

He stopped Commey and should have had momentum. Didn't he beat Pedraza the year before.

Two named fighters that are clearly on the downward spiral in their career. Calculated risk and fighting naturally smaller fighters at the end of their career. Barely moves the bar up for him.

I think he is a fighter that can give issues to any top fighter because of his activity and stamina.

Well, it's about to heat up at 140 soon and if he doesn't get off his azz, he will become an afterthought. Guys like Hitchins and Barboza will pass him in line for a title shot.

I thought the next fight for him was Barboza?

Barboza is due a shot and can't get one.

I think Ramirez turned down a WBO eliminator against Barboza. Both guys should have gotten title shots by now and shouldn't have to fight in an eliminator at this stage.
