Why are they booing?? This was a great fight for a preliminary undercard. Feel like Rivera displayed a good ring IQ to recover and a chin, albeit he isn't as good technically as let's say a Prograis or Haney, he also does gas in the later rounds. He is going to be a problem at 140 as a long rangy puncher whose able to box.

seems like the arena is still pretty empty and they aren't commentating from ringside. it's probably harder for commentators to get excited without the crowd/ringside energy. i like it though, the energy from the ring and crowd should make the atmosphere, not the guys commentating. i'd rather hear someone like bread as opposed to some over-dramatic commentator like mauro ranallo...whoever that showtime wrestling guy is. i tend to find most commentary distracting and it's usually biased, i don't need that kind of act to enjoy a fightComment

I get that. I don't want over the top energy, but if someone lands a good shot I like to hear a ooh or an ahhh. Something that lets me know they're into the fight, not just unemotional narrating. I do like that bread tries to b pretty fair tho. He doesn't overhype the a-side which is nice. Keef, pauli, and bread would b a good crew
