Andrade did really well...in the first 3 rounds. He even did some good stuff after that but he couldn't deal with the constant onslaught of Benevidez. I was a bit surprised that Andrade attacked David as much as he did. He bothered Benevidez quite a bit at first and I think Benevidez knew he had to break him down as quick as possible to discourage any success that Andrade was having.

Boo Boo really had nothing. Blew his load with so much movement and needless activity early on and crumbled at the first encounter with adversity. Great job to Benavidez but really disappointed with Boo Boo.

Everybody says that Benevidez will beat Canelo because of his pressure. Explain exactly how does that look? The only fighters to beat Canelo just simply outboxed him. Benevidez will NOT outbox Canelo, Benevidez will apply pressure and get countered all night long, he has no head movement so he’ll get hit a lot. Canelo has enough power to discourage him, Plant and Andrade did not. I’m by no means a Canelo fan but let’s not disrespect him

There's a lot of top super middleweights who would get their ass kicked by Benavidez. He already beat up Plant.

I believe Andrade is undersized at 168 and I agree that he didn't look good against Nicholson.

Plant survived 12 rounds, and held his own for a decent amount of it. Andrade went 4 rounds before he started wilting under the pressure, but that isn't surprising. He's inactive and in his third weight class. Andrade served his purpose as a stepping stone tonight.

This is what happens when you take a million years to finally fight a true top fighter....or rather what happens when you fight a monster. 154 Charlo and Andrade were signed to fight long ago and Charlo went on to win many titles and unify - and Andrade went on to literally do nothing for about 10 years after he ducked Charlo. Andrade must have known he had flaws and he probably thought DB was a plodder with more flaws - when in fact DB can box and punch. I don't see Andrade rising up after this.

Good luck vs DB. Closes the show. It’s my favorite part about watching sports is to see fighters’ showing us what they can do. Fun style, fights a skilled opponent and figures it out, takes over…. So many things to enjoy. Some people get joy out of seeing fighters lose or have bad performances. I love seeing these guys show me something and David did that. Who cares about who I think a fighter can beat, what side of street, promoters quotes, “the business side” or any of that bs. Enjoy a good performance, some of ur comments give me heartburn.

And last thing too many comment on a fight that they didn’t watch. oh u Read an article or listened to someone. Shame on you. don’t do that lol
