Oscar Del la Hoya - We are taking Virgil the WBA route instead of the WBO mandatory because Crawford is a very complex fighter, really good.

      Fanboys - That wasn't Spence.

As far as boxing ability, Crawford just does everything better than Spence. I suppose Spence throws more - but without much variety - which gives skilled opponents more opportunities to counter.

And I don't see Spence's style holding up too well against the better 154lbers, although he should be fine against welterweights moving up - as long as they're not named Crawford.

"Asked about details regarding the status of the rematch, James demurred.

“I don’t know anything about it. Nothin’” James said.

“That part (weight class) I’m sure they already signed that or whatever,” James added. “But I don’t know anything about that either
          .”

Sounds like a trainer change coming.

i wouldn't be surprised if Spence takes less money for the fight to happen at 154 instead of 147.

Spence was most likely fighting while drunk...... that Henny. He needs to retire and start heavybag business. "Spence Heavybag" $49.99 at Target

Might make sense for this fight to be at 154. See how Crawford performs. This way if he wins he only needs to move up 2 weight classes to fight with Canelo or maybe a catchweight of 163 or something.

Especially since the very first sentence said this

“You’ll see him [in the rematch], he won’t be so drained he won’t be so depleted or whatever,”
Either he was drained or he wasn’t. James seems angry, and as we saw with Wilder and Joshua, usually precedes a trainer change. Which we think is a bad idea.
