Rewatching Chavez vs Taylor. OMFG the HBO CREW are fkin BIAS!!!!

Every punch taylor throws is like a fkin mountain hittin chacez to them and then they say chavez is gettin frustrated. WTF?????

Watch fight with no sound and no fkin way TAYLOR WON THE FIRST 9 ROUND!!! I had it 5-4 to taylor. The first 9 were A LOT closer than HBO Legendary NIghts makes them out to be.

Even in 10-11 when chavez was landing solid hard shots all they did was talk about a taylor left hook WTF????????? You see taylor's head flying back but do they say anythign bout that NOOO!!!!

ENtire crew should have been fired after that performance worst one sided commentary i ever herd!!!

You'd think ray leonard would know hot to see the direction of fight since he's actually been in the ring at top level, but nope him too bias to the max!!!

yea that fight is definetly a lot closer then people seem to remember it being.

But the point is that was Taylors coming out fight. He had never looked THAT good against competition THAT elite.

People would understandably pleased with his performance, so you can understand why HBO was getting very excited. Taylor was fulfilling all of his potential in that fight, and living up to the hype

Taylor was out working, out moving, out speeding, out punching him.

That is enough for me to give the rounds to him.

Chavez did a great job at not losing faith and always coming forward. If Taylor had abit more pop, he would be devastating.

The man reason it wa such a big issue was the end of the fight. Taylor's face when the ref called it off said it all.

Out punching don't mean **** if the punches dont land or hit the gloves. That's what majority of taylors punches were doing, missing or landing on the gloves.

Just go rewatch the fight again and you will see how many punches he misses!!

Also let's not foget the low blows, there was about 20 of them b4 steele said anything ot taylor and people accuse steele of favoring chavez, if anything he favoured taylor the whole fight!!!!!

In defense of the HBO crew, when you see that fight live, it's much different that seeing it on a repeat.

I thought Taylor was winning much bigger than he actually was when I rewatched the fight. I didn't notice the damage that JCC was doing to him because he was so flashy and was landing so many shots on JCC.

After I watched it again a few times, then I noticed the incredible damage that JCC was doing to him. In a recent interview, Richard Steele even said he thought about stopping the fight because of the damage Taylor was taking, but watching it the first time live I didn't see it.

yeah but that has nothing to do with the round by round scoring. It still sounds like you still feel that Taylor was winning the rounds but just taking damage in the process

One of the most biased broadcasts I can remember, the best part is when Chavez hurts Taylor and they go completely quite for like 20 seconds until Merchant says "If he gets up, he probably wins the fight". This fight was before my time so I didn't see it live but from what I had read I thought Chavez was going to get dominated, he slipped a lot of punches and always came back with harder shots.

EXACTLY, the fight was not as one sided for the first 35 minutes and 58 seconds as legendary night and HBO commentary made it out to be!!!!!!

They called it like they saw it. JCC doin more physical damage, but Taylor pilin up points. Lederman defended Steele's stoppage at the end.
