Unless Ward is an absolute idiot and has no social awareness, then that's not the case. Everyone is going to take it a certain way, and because Ward is NOT an idiot, he definitely didn't mean "fighting styles." Like I said, in the words of Deontay Wilder, "don't have to explain what is understood."

I might have to rewatch it. I remember that it seemed really close to me. Meaning Kovalev won by a round. But it was awhile ago. I’ll rewatch it again. Curious to see if I see it differently.

I remember watching the fight Ward-Kovalev 1 fight live, I thought Kovalev won too. I was disappointed in the result.

ward knows he lost just look at his face when they announced him as the winner. he had already accepted defeat and the shock was apparent. a truly terrible decision in a fight he really was never in. people saying ward dominated the second half are flat out nuts. the only clear rounds he won in the fight were 5, 7 and 12. if you arent giving "he did better than before points" kovalev prob deserved 9 rounds. simply much better punches and no cheating garbage. the judges gave ward round 10...thats absolute insanity. result has no credibility

He got in his feelings and triggered by someone discrediting one of his most notable wins. I had Kovalev winning close but idk why he is mad, he had Kovavlev figured out by the 2nd half of their first fight and it showed in the 2nd fight.

he figured out if he punched kovalev in the balls over and over he would "win" ward plays chess while everyone else plays checkers.
