Plant did OK. He only outlanded Ben in one round in those first 4 or 5. His doing well was ducking and moving.

For a guy who was getting KO’ed in every prediction, he did more than OK. He went 12 rounds, did well enough to get 115-113 (Benavidez) on my scorecard on and 1 official judge’s scorecard.

He didn’t win, he didn’t do great, but he fought well. And he fought a hell of a lot better than everyone predicted. He barely lasted all 12 rounds, but he did it.

For someone who was getting knocked out in every pre-fight post, I think he deserves some credit.

NOT arguing with you though, whether he did OK or well, it would be arguing semantics. Just adding to your comment of him doing OK.

Lmao....i saw more predictions of Plant winning than the other way around. Us Benavidez fans, just like us Crawf fans, were gettin sh.it on in this and other boxing forums. I even offered bets but nobody wanted it.

Plant was dominated imo. I scored it 8-4. He talked big but the minute he couldnt wipe Benavidez smirk off his face it was game over. David took it personal and hurt that boy

You must’ve been high or misreading then because Plant was a heavy underdog and everyone was predicting he was getting KO’ed. Even Canelo predicted a KO win. It was a foregone conclusion.

I know that some fanbases like to big up their favorites by saying an opponent they beat was predicted to win by most. But that just makes you look delusional. Don’t even go there dude, the fight was way to recent, there’s plenty of threads I could pull up (if I cared that much, which I don’t).

I was seeing all the David haters posts all over the place. U can pull up whatever you want, but I read what I READ. Either way, fight is over, the better man as I predicted, beat Plants @ss and now it's on the the next.
