You know who tf I mean.

If Crawford didn't get paid that he himself woulda said something. He had no problem calling out Arum and taking him to court and he also had no problem calling out spencerina and haymon during negotiations so clearly they paid him what he wanted or else we all would of heard about it lmao dumbass

Looking at his BoxRec, he's only had four fights under the PBC banner and it took 4 years. He's basically a part-time contender, WTF is that? He seems decent and he comes to fight, but his inactivity isn't helping. Interestingly, he's also listed as a promoter for a few of his pre-PBC bouts. I'm assuming that he has a job/career outside of boxing.
Floyd used to have him at his camps for sparring. He signed to PBC and moved to Vegas during the pandemic, but like everyone else at PBC (especially welterweights) he just isn’t getting any fights.

Some fans would assume that an association with Floyd helps a boxer ascend the PBC totem pole (i.e. Gervonta Davis), but Crowley is just another guy in a holding pattern. However, now Crowley supposedly avoiding Ennis (to face Barrios) makes a bit more sense.

They're more Camp buddies than actual buddies. Floyd had him in his camps for Berto, Pac and McGregor fights, and has him spar other guys at the TMT gym. From what I read at the time, he helped get him signed to PBC. I think they met for the Pac fight, and he's been in all of Floyd's camps since.

Aside from Boots' obvious skills and ability, what stands out to me the most is, he's done everything the right way up til this point. He fought and beat up everyone put on front of him to end up as the mandatory for Spence back in 2021, and since then, he's beat everyone else up since then. It wasn't his fault that Spence got inured and couldn't fight him (not that Spence ever wanted to fight him anyway), and its not his fault that Bud and Errol signed contracts that included a rematch clause, which further delayed his opportunity to face either guy. So now that he was awarded the title, ppl act like he's to blame. He did his part, the others aren't doing their's. Anyone with a name, fight this man!

How exactly does a contender put a contract on guys that are bigger names than him?
Do you think guys like Mosley, Cotto, Guerrero, Berto, Ortiz etc all put contracts infront of Floyd to get those fights?

Boots can only call out these guys. The sanctioning bodies can get involved
I mean, was that not what Crawford did with Spence?

Crawford legitimately sat down with Spence's team and talked it out before walking away the first time.

Ennis is talking to us, calling out Crawford. instead of getting in a room with Crawford and his team, the boxing organizations, and his own team.

Talking to us and tweeting about it isn't going to make the fight happen. That's 100% for certain.

Even Porter turned to the boxing org to get Crawford moving.

Crawford is basically notorious for paying no mind and making no effort to get actually good opponents in the ring with him, at this point. He's done it 3x against the 3 best competitors that he would have on his resume.

              Porter, Spence, and now Ennis.

When you say that that is what Crawford did with Spence, you are literally implying that Boots is on the same level as Crawford in terms of negotiating fights.
Crawford was a legit belt holder and the fight with Spence was a historic fight with two undefeated and top 10 P4P guys fighting. Absolutely not the same case with Boots.
No one wants to fight Boots and Boots can’t force Bud to fight him.
Once again, your argument is like saying guys like Mosley, Cotto, Guerrero, Berto, Ortiz etc all put a contract on Floyd or forced Floyd to fight them. They never did.

Now, what did you understand from my argument?

Boots was in no position to negotiate with Spence or Bud. High risk, low reward.

Bud is the man at WW. All Boots can do is keep asking for a shot. He should not though. He was the highest ranked contender and most experts and boxing purists consider him the future of boxing. Bud chose to fight Avanesyan and Benavidez instead. Guys that are no where near Boots in skills or even recognition.
Bud is on record stating he will not fight Boots. He was never going to fight Boots even if the Spence fight hadn’t happened.

You are right about one thing - Boots should have crashed every Bud’s fight demanding a fight or force the sanctioning bodies to enforce his mandatory position. That should not how boxing should be.

But I really have no argument with what you said. that's part of why I asked. I didn't want to go in circles for nothing.
