Liam Davies carried over his newfound power surge into his latest title defense. The unbeaten Brit overcame a flash knockdown to score two of his own en route to a fifth round stoppage of Italy's Vincenzo La Femina. A barrage of punches left La Femina defenseless forced referee Fabian Guggenheim to stop the contest at 2:50 of round five in their TNT Sports/ESPN+ televised battle Saturday at AO Arena in Manchester, England.
