Comments Thread For: Benavidez Shrugs Off P4P List, Fighter Of The Year Honors, Instead Focused On Making Best Fights

By Manouk Akopyan - David Benavidez will face Demetrius Andrade on November 25, and should Benavidez convincingly pass yet another tough test, he'll present a strong case to be considered as a candidate for 2023 fighter of the year once the calendar year comes to a close.

Now that's the way to go about reaching those accolade's, just do your best in the ring, and those achievement's will follow.
After Andrade if you beat him, you should try to get Morrell, Berlanga, Munguia, Ryder, or Mbilli, in order to force Canelo's hand.

I wonder if he even makes the weight for Andrade fight. He looked like a skeleton making weight in his last fight.

He belongs to 175, he just wants to cash out against Canelo, that is why he is here. At 175 he gets destroyed.

After Andrade, he should go to Bivol or Bertabiev if he can get the fight. It'd be a "no lose" situation...if he won, he'd beat Alvarez without getting him in the ring & be a two-division champion. If he loses, he doesn't lose any ground, particularly if he makes it an exciting fight. But either way, increases his brand & bank account.

Cheatnello fans are begging for another cherry pick so no their hero can hang out a little longer in boxing. Right now they're examining his bank account like his accountant. That's all they care about is that Canelo makes the most money possible and doesn't fight hard fights

He better stay at 168 then and fight Canelo for all the belts, what you think?
