    I digress. You are correct.

He earned it by being exciting early in his career. Shakur has not earned anything yet. I for one will not watch him again, unless he is fighting Teo, Or Haney, or Tank, or loma. But only because, I like the other fighters. This fight was disappointing.

I am not a Navarete fan exclusively, although I am a fan of a good fighter that comes to win. De Los Santos was almost as guilty as Shakur for this bad fight. Do not forget that this fight set the record for the least punches landed in a championship fight in compubox history. That is not good. You do not have to be biased against a fighter to say that his fight was crap. The truth is absolute.

Hope I never see Shakur fight again, EVER. Imagine a fight against Haney.

Shakur actually has one of the best viewership numbers under Top Rank, better than Teo.

We saw that trash ass performance right after seeing vaquero and concencaio give there all to the people! Robson was out on his feet just throwing caution to the wind trying to win that belt, shakur knew all he had to do was not get hit and he’d get the victory. Man I just recall how Robson concenciiiao hurt and all was just fighting with his heart and didn’t care to go out on his shield if need be, he won the 12th round which earned him a well deserved draw and then we get that bs from Stevenson and it just pisses me off more just thinking about it. Viva Brazil Mexico and DR tonight for sure! Phuck shakur

Just remembered, add Gregorio Vargas to that list too. Another fight Floyd got booe’d and criticised for (by casuals of course).

The entire HBO broadcast team had nothing but negatives to dish out, including Larry Merchant. They even alluded he’d have problems with Diego Corralles. When you don’t know boxing.. you don’t know boxing.
