He knows how to manipulate the gullible people around him. He says things what they want to hear like, "I would have accepted the offer in a heartbeat" when BLK was making Bud vs Avanesyan. Only to turn it down when BLK offered it to him.

Meanwhile, Crawford called out lightweights and super middleweights while trying to force Spence down to 147 - meaning he COULD fight Boots at 147 and chooses not to.

          That's called ducking, bro.
You seem to be involved in the Bud/Spence Rematch discussions
          Lol
Send me the News links where Bud is forcing Spence to fight at 147.....
          I'll wait

In all the years watching boxing and being around my Tio when he became a champ, I've never seen so many undisputed fights, be it the 3 or 4 belt era.
how does your unc feel about bud and boots? Does he rate bud as an ATG at this moment? If he does or doesn’t I don’t think is wrong either way, even though I feel he needs more names, like you said the two time undisputed 3 time lineal is nothing to sneeze about. Argument can be made he there already and I wouldn’t be mad at that; the guy is special, his proven that in the ring where it’s the only place you can prove it at

The beauty of my situation is that everything I’ve said is audio recorded and public. My stance has been consistent. I’m on record telling Spence, after Crawford walked away from negotiations, to fight Keef, Boots or Stankonia to stay busy. Spence decided to wait for Crawford “circling the block”. He’s the fighter, that’s his call.

I also said that Spence might be relieved not having the pressure on him anymore, because now it’s Crawford’s problem. And I said he should fight a mandatory while waiting for Spence. Crawford refused.

You, on the other hand, want Crawford to do circus mismatches instead of fighting mandatories. That’s cool.

              That’s also ducking.

Whether you accept that or not is your problem. You can be a mark.

I choose to respect the orgs enforcing their rules. If he doesn’t like it, beat Boots, take the belt back and become a two-time undisputed at 147, something nobody has ever done. OR vacate the belts and move up so the young guys can tangle.

He refused. He ducked the guy. And doesn’t want to fight any other Top 5 in his division.

Real fans should call that out.

My Tio, Tony the Tiger Lopez, views Bud as top or near the top p4p ATM. He says quite often that however many years later, only thing that'll matter is he'll go down as undisputed in 2 divisions and if he were to become a 3 division undisputed champ, he will be mentioned as the best of this generation and a top 15 atg.

Haven't seen him in a mo th or so but we're supposed to get together for the. Benavidez fight

now dont get me wrong, i want Bud to have bigger names on his resume, but if cats make excuses not to fight him, what can you do? If I had it my way, after Spence rematch, he fights Tszyu, then Mell and if he wins he can retire as the best of this generation.

Wishful thinking but I dont think he has any biz getting in the ring at 168 vs Alvarez. I think the highest he can go, is maybe 160, and thats only if conquers 154 and he carries the weight well up to 160.

The hagler/duran fight was at 155lbs. So maybe a middleweight title shot is feasible....

Uh....maybe you could at least wait until Bud does his mandatory rematch before calling him a ducker? He has said he wants the biggest money fights from here on, dude is a few years from retiring and has every right to move up and unify 154 if he can for big money.

Maybe he will decide to fight Boots. How can you be so pretentious as to constantly say he is "ducking" when he has a contractual rematch? Maybe wait until he sits on the belts for a few months after the Spence rematch before going full blown hater? Jesus.

No sh.it that’s your Unc? Man, that’s was up bro! Hella cool, he had a great career, got in there with the Gran campeón went 10, that fight seems to have had taken a lot out of tony but by then he was already well accomplished in the game. No shame in losing to one of the goats. Few men in the world can say they shared the ring with that monster. Props to your unc. So you have that champion blood in you, that’s was up! Few men in this world can say that too. Man, I’d be picking his brain all day whenever I’d have the chance to chill with the champ if I were you. That’s was up bro, best wishes to yall. As far as bud and what your tio said and what you’d like to happen, I have no rebuttal and agree and would like to see all that happen too. Bud is special like I said before, he def will have many options after he handles Spence again, it’ll def be interesting to see which way he decides to take this twilight era of his career which can end up enhancing his legacy or taking a hit because in boxing you just never know. No one can ever take the two time undisputed and three time lineal champ along with all the other accolades away from him though, that’s for sure

Hes my moms younger 1/2 brother, abuelo was a rolling stone lol. Whats crazy is my older Tio, Sal Jr., was the best of between them 2. But between injuries that derailed his young career and marrying/having a child early, he went on to become a C.O. But Tony did his thing in there. Watching him train then become a pro was badass. His 2 fights vs Lockridge, 3 fights vs John John Molina were fun to watch. When he beat Gamache to win his 1st title, we all drove up to Oregon for that one. When he went on to face JCC, Fam knew that el gran campeon was gonna be a huge task and its crazy cause we all love JCC but that was tough to watch lol. He ended up doing local commercials in Sacramento and opened his own bail bond business. Met a lot of fighters through him too. I always hit him up when I get back to Sacra but its tough some times with differing schedules. Still a cool guy though, him and former wba super lt weight champ Loreto Garza are best homies.
