It's a pity a simple question ALWAYS turns into a HATE thread, as soon as Klitschko vs. Lewis comes up.

The numbers given here vary from 20 Mil EUR to 40 Mil USD, but a source was not given. In the end, it does not matter - it's a HUGE lump of cash, and now the milk has been spilled.

Lewis should come back and fight for the money because if he loses now, it means nothing and it will not affect his legacy. It will still be a huge fight and a huge money maker even though Lewis is ancient now...

yep. he beat vitali with just one punch. all he had left was the uppercut
and that was enough against vitali. imagine if it was lewis in his
prime vitali would be out like michael grant.

just look at vitalis face. lewis is a beast

I've never seen VK down, or even dazed. I doubt even LL had the power in his prime to manage that.

Still, I respect the TKO he achieved in that fight.

People make out Lewis stopping VK was nothing because he didn't hit the floor. Gatti didn't hit the floor against Mayweather but that is regarded as one of the best performances ever.

              Face it, Lewis owned VK

Really Vitali is the only one with something to lose legacy wise here and still wants the rematch he can gain nothing from really other than money....still it is a huge risk for Lewis physically and I really don't want to see an overweight, old Lewis get beaten up too badly.

I remember Lewis in the post fight interview after fighting Klitschko saying exactly this to Larry Merchant:¨

Merchant: Will you give him a rematch?
Lewis : show me the money i destroy the other part of hes face.

                    Coward!
