lol You guys are ****in morons...
Paq has gotten slower and heavier on his feet since moving up, but not significantly slower. He was winging for dear life against Hatton in the later part of that second round and you could just tell he was heavy on his feet in doing so. Plus you can tell he's too heavy just by the way he lingers and stands still after throwing his punches now, all smaller fighters do that when they move up past their more effective weights. They're punches linger out after they throw em, they can't bring their hands back into their chest as fast as they normally do. But the added weight has made him heavier to the punch, that's the only real plus I see. He really leaned into the left hand that laid Hatton out like a stiff. But he's not nearly as live on his toes as he was at 130.
At 130 he was bolt of lighting with his two-hop left hand, you could see that punch coming every time for the most part at 130, but it would still sneak in. Now you can see it coming from a mile away now that he's moved up in weight. Hatton, who has **** for technique was able to duck every lunging left Paq threw with ease lol. I think Hatton literally ducked every hopping left hand Paq threw. The only punches that stung Hatton were right hooks he didn't see and a left hand that Paq turned into. And I bet Hatton tried to walk through that fight ending left hand because Paq didn't bounce before throwing it. If he bounced, Hatton probably would have heard that lil whistle in his head reminding him to duck, but it was just a normal short left hand. But between Hatton's chin and over all skill...He didn't have a chance regardless lol.
The Paq that fought Marquez, I think that will be the best version you'll see of Manny. He had speed and was able to hop around more lively. Now he's slowed down for the sake of carrying a heavier punch. If I was Miguel, Id train for a slower Paq that's gonna throw some pretty hard short punches. And If he can make Paq reach, he'll have target practice on Mannies mushroom head lol.
