Before there was an Errol Spence Jr., a Jaron Ennis, or a Terence Crawford - Andre Berto was the man to beat at 147 pounds. The former Olympian had it all. Speed, power, an incredibly high ring IQ, and the swagger that made all the pieces fit together perfectly.

200 fighters under advisory and he puts these two on the undercard. this is why it is dangerous for him to get an AMZ or NETF deal. He'll burn bridges again within 12 months.

Berto was an ok fighter. I don't know where the writer got the "incredibly high ring IQ" from

He lost to Victor Ortiz and Robert Guerrero. Why would I want to watch him again? There is no amount of repackaging that will make me think he was a former great. All 3 of these guys are footnotes in boxing history as "champions" that Mayweather beat.

When was Berto ever the man to beat at 147?

What a terrible piece of writing.
