Honestly, Ajgaba isn't in a position to be asking for anyone. The good thing is that he's staying active, unlike a lot of HWs.

It's possible that Ajagba had no one name in particular on his mind, or that he's unlikely to get the names that WERE on his mind...so he chose to give a stock answer. Based on his recent activity, it's probably the most accurate answer. Calling out Zhang in that moment could've been interpreted as performing for the camera. It's ultimately up to Top Rank to get him higher-ranked opponents, like Zhang. Maybe TR don't think Ajagba is ready, maybe they don't have the budget or the desire to invest in better opponents because they don't think Ajagba is worth it. Zhang is looking higher than Ajagba, which is why I said in my original comment that Ajagba currently has very little leverage at HW. Zhang would have to WANT to fight him, just like Joyce sacrificed his mandatory spot by choosing to fight Zhang. Zhang is now in a privileged position, and will start to pick and choose. He'll fight Ajagba only if nothing better materializes...and if he believes that Ajagba is vulnerable enough to risk his newly-won mandatory spot.

Efe Ajagba is heavy on his feet so they have to be careful of whom they match him with, he was wild as hell when hurting his man and isn't that seasoned as of yet! Jared is natural where Efe is trying to find himself and thinking hard to make the right decisions.
