It's easy to get sidetracked, especially in the sport of boxing. Fighters, no matter how dogmatic in their approach, often take their eyes off the prize. It happened to Mike Tyson in 1990. With a showdown against Evander Holyfield looming, James "Buster" Douglas spoiled the party - stopping him in the 10th round.

These two need to fight in the worst way. Enough talk. If they both win , do it next.

Loma didn't want Shakur, Tank don't want Shakur, Pitbull Cruz don't want Shakur, Camaron Zepeda don't want Shakur. Most likely Devin Doesn't want Shakur. Everyone calling out Devin Haney, no one is scare of him, not his feather fist.

Shakur should have taken the 25% offer for the chance to become undisputed lightweight champion of the world.

These guys aren't ducking each other, they're building up their superfight.

Classic domestic rival route ala Khan-Brook, Fury-Joshua, Beterbiev-Bivol, Canelo-Benavidez, etc.

While I agree that Haney is not interested in taking on the younger lions, this notion that all these other guys are scared of Stevenson is non-sense. Bob offered Pitbull, Zepeda and Loma sh** offers, amongst other people as well. That's what Bob does, Did it with Crawford, Loma himself to a point, Beterbiev, Fury, Haney as well when he was with TR. That's what Bob does, protect his fighters, Bobby is not eager for Stevenson to get in with the big dogs, and by no means I'm I saying Stevenson himself is scared or wouldn't win, what I'm saying is that Bobby ties fighters hands, I mean look at Crawford when he was with TR, Bobby wasted his time, once he got out, he truly opened his potential.

Sahakur beat Oscar Valdez easily. That’s anything better than Devin gorilla nosed Haney has ever done. Devin biggest name is Lomachenko in which we all saw hi loose

That would have been the move but Stevenson's arrogance prevented him from taking the risk.
