I'm already on edge for this fight!

    WAR Taylor!

He sounds all business - never heard him talk quite like this before. Good news is he is already in Germany and should be adjusted to the time difference soon.

Abraham winning by decision a very strong possibility. I was thinking about the fight in-depth last night and was thinking that Taylor could win the first 4 rounds, and then Abraham could win the last 4 rounds...and that the 4 rounds in the middle would be debatable, but the judges would score them all for Arthur.

But I am sticking with my original prediction of a Taylor decision and thats that lol
Believe me man, I hope he gets the nod.

The thing is, I think (hope) Taylor will do lots and lots of jabbing from the outside. He'll throw the right, and the occassional left hook and uppercut, but he doesn't need to stay in front on him and wing shots. I thought that was part of the problem against Froch, even though he was winning--he stayed in the pocket too much, and didn't step and turn him enough.

I see a lot of those jabs hitting gloves, and Abraham will throw less but land the harder punches, making it difficult to score

After Abraham explodes, he needs to land something significant. From the fights I've seen he'll occassionally leave his face exposed when countering with those big shots. Like after Abraham threw and was in the process of bringing his gloves back up, Miranda landed a right hand that broke his jaw.

This is without a doubt when Abraham is easiest to hit. If you can dodge his outbursts, he leaves himself wide open for counters. Taylor will have to take full advantage of these moments to land his biggest shots if he wants to score points with the judges.

I know you do buddy. Dstew knows all about it too...you'd swear the fight was this saturday the way we are talking.

You're right actually, hopefully Jermain will be able to respond to Arthur's bursts. I havn't been watching any Arthur fights recently to be honest, I don't want to see any more of his KO highlight reels LOL

But hey...how sweet would it be. If Jermain dropped Arthur with the same straight right down the middle that Foreman dropped Moorer with. The secret weapon that George passed on to Jermain hehe :P

Nah but seriously, I have a feeling George has been telling Jermain he can knock this guy out. Hopefully George helps Jermain channel that power into something productive early on in the fight

The past few of Taylor's fights I've been hard on him and really tried not to get caught up in the training camp hype and the soundbytes to the media... but with all this talk about how he doesn't need the money and he's just fighting to fight, because he wants to win, he doesn't care how, he just wants to win, he's on weight two weeks before the fight, he corrected his diet, he just wants to win... I can't help it; it's sucking me back in.

I usually drink when I watch boxing, but not when one of my favorites are on. Should Taylor KO Abraham, or even win, I'll down a bottle of Southern Comfort, which I hate with every fiber of my being.

Me too. That's the way I've been looking at it. He's made his money and no one is forcing him to be in it. Still, I'm really trying not to get my hopes up, and being honest about the Abraham fight.

BTW, did you go to the Froch fight? Even though I'm in Mass, I didn't end up going because none of my buddies watch the sport.

              Glad I didn't go though.

Nah, I didn't go to the Froch fight. Very glad I didn't, in hindsight. I had a bad feeling about it ahead of time.

And I usually don't drink much when watching boxing, but I make an exception when someone I like is fighting, especially Taylor. I usually need a few just to be able to sit through it. Makes the knockouts easier to watch.

Like I said, he struggled to make weight before and still had good power. He will be much stronger than Taylor may think and should he land a few flush ones, Taylor is going down.

That may be true, but remember we've heard the same thing from Kelly Pavlik in the past, and Jermain went 12 with him in the rematch and took some hard shots along the way.
