I know it is a big weight jump.

But Michael Spinks went directly to Heavyweight from Light Heavyweight and won the Heavyweight Championship from Larry Holmes in his first fight.

I think Heavyweight needs an injection of skilled boxers.

Maybe Canelo could jump to Heavyweight eventually too.
