Omar Henry; half american, half Rican; will he get full support?

Omar Henry is half african american, half puerto rican. He lives, trains, & fights in America. I dont know if he can speak spanish.

My question is, will he get the same love & support from Puerto Rico?

Or will he meet the same fate as Oscar de la Hoya & all the other mexican-american fighters get, a love hate relationship & not the full embrace,loyalty, & love & support of the motherland & its real population?

Will omar henry be labled a "pocho" by the 100% born puerto rican much like the de la hoyas & david diazes get by the "pure" mexican born fight fans?

i'm not 100% sure, but i don't think Pricans will accept him, not because he's half-rican, but because he doesn't rep the Island.... I mean even Pricans hate NYricans.

Even if he does speak spanish, Boricuas aren't going to embrace a mixed Puerto Rican.

I have alot of Island-Boricua friends, and they say they truly dislike African-Americans .

Yeah, they also hate Dominicans, Cubans, Mexicans, white people, well just about everyone !!! lol
