My question is, will he get the same love & support from Puerto Rico?

Or will he meet the same fate as Oscar de la Hoya & all the other mexican-american fighters get, a love hate relationship & not the full embrace, loyalty, & love & support of the motherland & its real population?

Will omar henry be labled a "pocho" by the 100% born puerto rican much like the de la hoyas & david diazes get by the "pure" mexican born fight fans?
i'm not 100% sure, but i don't think Pricans will accept him, not because he's half-rican, but because he doesn't rep the Island.... I mean even Pricans hate NYricans.

exactly. i think henry will not have the full support of the puerto rican community. Just like nonito donaire wont have the full support of phlippine people.

You have to live, fight, train & come from the motherland to get the tito trinidad & manny pacquiao nationalism level support plus speak the language.

You get full support by being Boricua, if you honor your Boricua side you get support, Omar doesnt, does he?

                    So what's a "true rican"? Calle 13?

Does this guy get the seal of approval? Too bad he can't really fight (or sing)...
