Comments Thread For: Malignaggi Gives High Praise To Andrade as One of The 'Most Talented of This Generation'

Paulie Malignaggi continued to shake his head at how the career of Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade was playing out. For roughly a decade and a half, the former Olympian was as smooth as butter in the ring. If you wanted to **** it out on the inside, he was more than willing. A pure boxing match? No problem. There was essentially nothing Andrade didn't excel in.

I agree with Paulie. I'm just glad that Andrade and Benavidez are fighting each other. Both of them have been ducked across the map.

No one is ducking Andrade, it is him doing the ducking and now he played that game so long its do or die, he beats Benavidez straight to the top for the payday payday payday, he loses and he is journeyman with no notable wins and lost the first time he stepped up.

He's one of the most wasted talents of this generation, he's a few months off of being 36 and finally having his first competitive fight with his ability/talent it's laughable...

Obviuosly you don't know the history. Andrade has called out, tried to fight and unify with champions at 154 and 160 for years. Everybody ducked. He was high risk with low reward so stop being a hating ho and give the man his credit. He's even fighting the most ducked fighter now and ya still don't appreciate the man.

He ducked his mando at 160 to move to 168 to fight for a vacant title then ducked that fighter too. No one is ducking him and if you watched the Williams fight you will know why going life/death with a C level fighter. I never wanted any fighter to get frozen out of big fights or get badly ko'd more than this failed attempt to be a scammer while doing the least amount of work taking no risks.

Andrade did his work trying to coerce some named opponents into the ring, but none came, don’t wanna hear the Charlo bs from years ago. He has crashed pre and post fight interviews
to no avail. Truth be told I bet Canelo is hoping and praying that Boo Boo beats Benny! He would much rather backtrack some of his words, rather than fight Benavides. I still believe it’s a 50/50 fight that’s winnable for both. May the best man win
