Fury probably won, but not convincingly, a "convincing" win to me passes the eye test where you know they won for sure without counting rounds up. He outlaned Ngannou but barely. He was trying to get him with the uppercut and missed that a few times.

Ngannou could have been heavyweight champ if he started boxing young, i mean hell he was almost heavyweight champ last night if the belts were on the line. His power is legit which is the first we seen for an MMA guy in boxing, Fury fought scared and didnt want to eat more shots. He also has pretty quick hands and reflexes for his size, his size is also crazy, who has a 6 pack at 270 pounds that is insane. Hes got a good jaw too he ate all of Furys punches.

For any boxer to convincingly beat Ngannou, they cant fight him like they are scared and they certainly cant manhandle him on the inside so they are going to have to outbox him on the outside and mid distances.

          • Conditioning - that relates to the cardio in a big sense, but he was in good shape and most of all, he was motivated

He impressed me in the late rounds too, he was breathing very heavy, breathing through his mouth but he just kept working through it, even at the end of the rounds you could see how hard he was breathing so we know hes hear max heart rate but he didnt really slow down anyways.

Joshua already did for the first Usyk fight (which made the outcome even funnier).

Had it been Joshua who got dropped by an MMA guy, Lewis would've released a series of criticism. So now is Fury is buddy he saw it fit to immediately kick start the damage control.

If you score round by round. Fury just did enough to win. Only if Ngannou had more experience, could have stopped him in 4th round

Fury got beat up...knocked down, cut, nose bloodied, eye blackened, and meanwhile Ngannou doesn't so much as have a scratch on his face. When has Fury ever been battered like he was in that 8th round? Ngannou was never going to get a decision no matter what.

Look at Usyk's face when Ngannou knocked down Fury...LOL

Unfortunately for Usyk, he isnt 275lbs and doesnt have Ngannous power. Idk why people are crushing on Ngannou so bad. He did batter Fury..for the first half of the fight, and that was only bc Fury had underestimated him and tried to run right at him. Afterward, he adjusted, stayed back and humiliated Ngannou with jabs he could do nothing about. I hope they run it back so all the Ngannouphile fankids can see why brains and brawn beats brawn 100% of the time. MMA fans have notoriously short attention spans, thats why the fights are so brief, and why Ngannou did well for four rounds, after that, Fury took him to school and left him and his fans crying. They hyperfocus on what they can and anything that lasts longer than 10 minutes confuses them bc it requires more brainpower than theyre capable of.

The 8th round was Fury being beaten-up...total domination. As a matter of fact...had Ngannou spent less energy doing so and conserved some for 8 & 9, he’d have won on the judges scorecards, because Fury was gassed. Ngannou is obviously still learning after only 1 fight. He probably learned a great deal from it and will get better.
