Fury, Ngannou Official Scorecards - Saudi Arabia - In a non-title crossover boxing match, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) was forced to get off the floor to win a razor-close ten round split decision over MMA veteran Francis Ngannou (17-3 in MMA, 0-1 in boxing) in a fight that was more competitive than anyone could have expected.

    Well that was unexpected.

Ngannou boxed great for an mma guy, boxing really was his first love. Ive got to watch properly to score the fight as i was nodding off in the middle of the night. Fury was obviously in a fat camp & not a boxing camp again & looked weak & off balance.

    Has Usyk become favourite now?
Does Ngannou get a top 10 wbc ranking?
Ngannou should be on the undesputed undercard against Wilder or Aj.

I wasn't keeping score, but had the strong feeling that Ngannou lost. But Ngannou had that Mike Tyson look and stance that is wonderful to see, and he's clearly not intimidated at all to be in the boxing ring, much less with the current champion. Granted, it looked like Fury was pretty far from in shape for the fight, but even in the early rounds when he had energy, he struggled to connect, and was extremely careful about Ngannou's power.

It's going to be fun watching Ngannou going forward. I can see him beating a lot of the best out there if he does some learning fights. Could actually become champion. I guess what I'd love to see is Fury beating Usyk, and then a rematch, only for the belts, with Ngannou.
