Well, it should be no surprise if Filipino's know a little less about boxing than
those of us in the west. Boxing isn't covered over there like it is in other countries. They are broke. How the hell would they afford PPV?

Regardless, Pacquiao has done a hell of a lot for boxing in general. Because of him, our sport has picked up a lot of fans, not only in Asia, but worldwide. Of course, the west is ahead on boxing knowledge, that's only to be expected.

Just so you know, we do have PPV in the Philippines and people are able to afford them and they don't necessarily pay the $50 price that we do here. And yes we do get coverage of other popular boxers as well. And another thing, Philippines do have their own local boxing and boxers, so there is some knowledge in boxing, just not as much international or world wide.
