The reality is all Pinoys know Pacquiao. Not all Pinoys know boxing. As such, many Pinoys only know boxing through Pacquiao. They're not actually fans of boxing as a whole but just of Pacquiao. It has nothing to do with all Pinoys as there are many who are in fact fans of boxing as well as fans of Pacquiao. Nothing can be done about *******s or anyother tards for that matter, but attempting to discredit all Pinoys would be a fail.

Your misinformed. Sure Filipinos don't know much about boxing here but there's plenty that know about boxing in Asia. Some of you seem to forget the live on the other ****ing side of the planet! Boxing has a significant community and following in the PI but because they get little exposure in the Americas, all they know is the local boys and history.

FYI my grandfather and his brothers were all huge Duran and DLH fans through the years, he even had money on DLH over pac.

Well, it should be no surprise if Filipino's know a little less about boxing than
those of us in the west. Boxing isn't covered over there like it is in other countries. They are broke. How the hell would they afford PPV?

Regardless, Pacquiao has done a hell of a lot for boxing in general. Because of him, our sport has picked up a lot of fans, not only in Asia, but worldwide. Of course, the west is ahead on boxing knowledge, that's only to be expected.

The west has "western boxing" and the east has kickboxing. TS's argument is like calling Europeans ignorant for calling soccer football.
