Not in terms of credibility. This is like a 5 volleyball players going to OT with the Golden State Warriors.

the worst thing Fury can do is take fights like this or against much lesser opponents. Its hard to switch your mentality mid-fight when you have such complacency going into it

Guarantee you would see a very different version against Usyk.
As much as he got paid, he SHOULD'VE taken this fight seriously!

Except Floyd was too damn good that night.

        I remember Floyd's confused look

Richard assured him with a whisper in the ear and calmed him down
Exactly. So should tonight's verdict be of any surprise? Once again, the only surprise to me, is that one judge actually got the score right!

Post fight he said he'd been in camp for 12 weeks. Ain't no way Fury can recover from that for Usyk on Dec 23.

          That knockdown was legit !

Yes, but this is assuming Fury truly was the no. 1 HW in boxing. He wasn't, and now it should be pretty obvious he isn't.

If Ngannou fought Usyk tonight, it would look very similar to Usyk vs. Joshua 1.

This is what it boils down to: People severely underestimated Ngannou, and drastically overrated Fury. If I had to make odds, I would have installed Fury at +500. Those were realistic odds to anyone in the know. Saying Francis only had a puncher's chance was 100% inaccurate. If you gave Ngannou anything less than a 20% chance going in, you clearly didn't do your homework.

And if you ask me, he looked even better than 5-1 dog. He overperformed, and Fury underperformed. Simple as that. Hats off to Ngannou.

What makes you so certain he even had any intentions of fighting Usyk? I don't see that happening Dec. 23rd, or even at all for that matter.

He was hurt in the 8th too, and took a bunch of shots.

It was embarrassing. Fury got dominated. That was not a close fight. Absolute robbery.
