The reason boxing is on the decline is due to these scenarios. Fury has been rewarded for a disgustingly poor performance. Let's be real, Fury was beaten because his cheating wasn't effective against Francis - the punching and holding, headlocks, and everything in between Fury has gotten away with in previous fights was a non factor in this fight. The excuses of layoff by Fury mean what? Francis has been out the ring longer and does not even have a credible boxing background.

Furthermore, all the talk by Fury and his fans of him being unbeatable or the greatest heavyweight of all time is rubbish. I saw a man who had zero desire to put it all on the line like Ali against Foreman or Lennox against Vitali. Francis had the fire of battling siki in him tonight and should have beaten Fury.

The declined of boxing is sad, and the blame game put on Mayweather is rubbish. The PBC or Mayweather ruined boxing yet we have the supposed greatest heavyweight champion of all time robbing a novice.
