all i can say is, if he want to be champ he should focus his all in boxing, otherwise stay in school. Like they say "you cant serve 2 masters at the same time"

You guys are idiots! He loses nothing/very little by not taking this 'opportunity'. There seems to be some kind of delusion that him sparring with Pac will get him massive exposure and career chances, but I'd be willing to bet that 99% of the people on here couldn't name the sparring partners that Pac used for Hatton, or the sparring partners that any top boxers used for fights more than a month or two ago. he getting more attention for not going actually then if he would have ever really went in the 1st place!!!!!!!! goood choice Omar

It was obvious in his tweeter page and the forum he joined in that he was asking for advice if he'd help Pac or not. Eventually, his fans convince him not to and his heart gave in and thought he'd betray his boxing hero Cotto if he'd go for it. School was just a front, he didn't even mentioned it on their discussions at the forum. lol . Nevertheless wish him well in his career.

I understand these Cotto fans feeling why they happy at Henry's decision not to spar with Pac.

His round trip plane ticket to the Phillipines would cost more than the classes he's taking. The experience in itself is worth more in the long run when you can tell friends, family, kids, grandkids that you once met and sparred with one of the best boxers ever and received advice from one of the best trainers ever..

                    OR

Yeah I aced that math class I was taking at HOUSTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

Guy shouldn't be a pro if he's in college anyway. Stick to the amateurs until you're ready to really commit.

I love how you guys **** all over a young guy who felt his studies (no matter where) were more important than meeting a superstar boxer. Perhaps he doesn't live in fantasy land (pacland) and felt it was not his time...

Everyone walks their own path, meeting Pac and Roach just wasn't for him.
