Bread talking about athletes and and athleticism in regards to boxing made me think of Tommy Z.

All-American at Notre Dame, safety and kick returner for the Ravens, and 8-0 professional boxer; pretty strong stuff.

There it is, the Crawford/Canelo again. Make it happen NOW! Forget about the Spence rematch.

And when the fight is over let the Face Of Boxing fight Tank Davis next. Let's goooooo!

See the amount of obsession this media has on Canelo/Crawford? And then they blame the Face of Boxing when he agrees to fight these people.

wait, so you’re blaming the media for canelo picking Jermell Charlo over Benavidez instead of laying the blame where it belongs, which is squarely on canelo for being a bichhh. Nobody was asking for canelo vs Jermell in 2023. Just like nobody was asking for canelo vs khan for the mw title while ggg was his mandatory. Can’t blame the media for Canelo being the only guy ever to have someone jump 2 weight classes to face him on 2 separate occasions while there were legit and more lucrative options in his own division. Canelo’s opponent selection is based on his desire to minimize risk. Not the media.

If you follow boxing, you’d know this is how things work and this has been happening for decades. Crawford is considered to be the best in the world while Canelo used to hold that spot and is the most popular. Same way there was talk of Canelo vs Usyk at one point, people used to talk about mayweather vs Roy Jones, same way pac vs Oscar happened, same way there was talk of Leonard vs hagler while Leonard was still a welterweight and it eventually happened years later. Some fights are realistic and others aren’t, but this is what gets people’s attention. But comparing that to why canelo picked on the other guys I mentioned is ridiculous as there wasn’t any major demand for him to face charlo or Amir khan. He picked them because he wanted to.

someone can be a journeyman in boxing starting late. but to be a top boxer that is another story. Dennis Rodman didn't even play basketball until he was around 18 years old and is an atg. that don't happen in boxing. hate that bread man don't realize the differences he himself brings up.

Broner gets a soliloquy, but nothing on Shexit save for some nostalgia? Come on, Bread, spill it. These are dark times.

Not true. Hopkins started boxing late and became an atg. Sergio Martinez started boxing late and was the best mw in the world for several years.
