That's what I thought also. I think after the Cotto fight, if Pac is to win he would have to defend it at 147 though. Unless he plan to fight at 140 and a mega fight arise with Shane than they can do a catch weight again.

it's suppose to be #1 against #2 on the ring rankings to be the ring champion.

i think the belief is that if pac beats #3 cotto , he can jump to #2 while shane is still #1.



it's up to ring though. depends on where they rank pac at 147 if he beats cotto.
