Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: I Think Fury Will Go Toe To Toe With Ngannou, Fight Will Be Very Short

Frank Warren, promoter for WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, does not believe Francis Ngannou will enter the ring to simply collect a paycheck. Ngannou, a former UFC champion, will make his professional boxing debut against Fury on Saturday in Saudi Arabia. The WBC title will not be at stake.

Francis can hit but not sure he has been in with anyone who punches as hard as fury does. But I'm sure Francis won't fold easy, until he lands what he wants to land on fury. If fury dont show any panic and pain when Francis lands, then and only then Francis may say no mas

Fury is a calculated guy and he knows going toe to toe is taking needless risks. The reason he did it with Wilder is he knew Wilder had the speed and range to catch him eventually even if he boxed and moved. With Ngannou he can win pretty comfortably by just using his jab and staying mobile.

Tbh the closer we get to this the more I feel we are gonna see some weird scripted shady **** anyway. People betting on it are gonna get ****ed and Fury will get some kind of excuse to not go through with the Usyk fight in December.

This, Fury supposedly requested a 24 ft ring, which is fine the guys are like almost 500-600 pounds combined. Fury is also supposedly fighting in december so he is going to not want to get hit too much and id going to want to avoid any cuts. Plus he has the known superior stamina, he can just let Francis wear himself out the first few rounds not unlike Floyd did to Conor.

And yeah against wilder when he didnt have a fight scheduled 2 months later, it made perfect sense to crowd wilder on the inside because wilder doesnt have the same power on close shots as he does from a distance.

I still doubt that Fury-Usyk happens in december. No date has been announced, I dont think they even have a signed contract, I just think they had amicable negotiations and thats about it. they just need to make that ***ing fight already before any of the ABC's doesnt play ball anymore and we dont get a unified champ.

I don't think the fight will go the distance, but it won't be a slug fest either. I can see Fury being careful, but still able to land shots on Ngannou. Fury's shots will wear down and hurt Ngannou. At some point Fury will have no problem finishing him off in short order. Fury won't want to keep Ngannou around any longer than necessary because of the upcoming fight with Usyk.
