Comments Thread For: Fury Makes a Pit Stop With Ngannou Before The Real Heavyweight Fight

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a heavyweight fight. Once we've dispensed with the "it's a real fight, not an exhibition" silliness in Saudi Arabia this weekend, it seems that rival title claimants Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will finally put their respective baubles on the line in a long-awaited unification on December 23 or early next year.

It's funny how Fury constantly calls Usyk a middleweight, but claims he himself moves like a middleweight.

We'll see who's the better "Middleweight"

Bit of a silly comment mate obviously he's talking about size if you move like a middleweight as a 6'7+ guy it's a good thing being so small in the heavyweight division is not even if you move like a middleweight too.

Fury is going to show us all how a big guy should treat a small guy in the ring.

Fury is big but has good stamina because he does lots of cardio, he is elusive enough to not let you hit him (he has the lowest ratio of being hit in HW today), and can and will go toe-to-toe if needed. He has long arms, a good jab to make use of those long arms, decent skills, good upper body movement, great footwork, good presence of mind, excellent recovery time, good feints, can hit in combinations, can box both stances, can box both on the front foot and back foot.

Usyk has a good pace, nice footwork, good head movement, and can throw cheeky punches.

I cannot see how Usyk will deal with Fury. Fury's simply too good for him. Fury wins by KO unless Uyk keeps running and keeping his distance which would put him at a severe disadvantage.

Which is small for modern heavyweights and Fury is obviously saying it to get in his head because he is much smaller than the other top dogs

Usyk barely speaks English, and is from Ukraine. Do you think Fury's words really bother him? Lol...

Doesn't bother him I'm sure. And he's fine with Fury barking and clowning and pumping the fight. One of them needs to.

Usyk does, though, _understand_ English pretty well.
