Realy? I didn't heard about the class issues between Spanish and Inidan descentants. I thought that Spanish culture assimilated well with native Indians during the last 500 years.

My opinion is...a divide for the sake of a divide.

People in Mexico have very little to do in their social lives other than create factions. I have some relatives that live there, and they say it is basically a "cultural warzone".
