  • Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Confirms Fight With Oleksandr Usyk Is Set For December 23 In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Tyson Fury confirmed that December 23 is the date on hold for his heavyweight title unification fight with Oleksandr Usyk. The unbeaten WBC champion must emerge from his 10-round fight against Francis Ngannou on Saturday night without any cuts or other injuries that could delay his showdown with Usyk. If Fury is relatively unscathed following a main event he is heavily favored to win in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Fury-Usyk likely will be announced in the ring for eight weeks from Saturday night, also in Riyadh.

Want a fight to get made, just throw a crap ton of money at it.

Unless, of course, your name is Anthony Joshua.

Is 2 days before Christmas a good date for a PPV? If it's not selling well, expect an "injury."

If it happens, the majority of fights that fans would’ve wanted to see this year have happened. Including tank vs Ryan, Crawford vs Spence , Haney vs Loma, Inoue vs Fulton, and Lopez vs Taylor. The only major busts that should have happened this year are the promoters preventing Bivol and Beterbiev from unifying and Canelo avoiding Benavidez. Otherwise 2023 has been pretty solid.

£21.95 = $26.62. How are they charging $79.99 to watch Fury vs Ngannou in the states? Maybe they feel the need to get as much as they can from the 50 or so people who'll buy it here.
