The USA isn't producing any quality heavyweights, cruiser weights, light heavyweights, or middle weights?

    Time will tell.

Too much money now in the big 3 sports for young athletes to consider boxing.

unless you’re a midget like Tank, Shakur etc boxing ain’t for you.

Frank Sanchez is US's only hope now and he's not even American. There's Anderson who keeps singing "I'm not here for long."

What are the three sports you are referring? Surely not baseball which is becoming like boxing.

IE. Void of talented black men above 160 pounds?

In fact there are no players in MLB below 160 pounds.

But the study found Black players represented just 6.2% of players on opening day rosters, down from last year’s previous record low of 7.2%.

As such boxing will be all but shut down by the USA media. It is happening now. What left you tube boxers who are celebrities for acting like boxers. That will be aired. But good boxing cards with USA talent?
The future stars at lightweight, light welterweight, welterweight and super welterweight trump any other nation in all combined weight classes is what you failed to mention. Along with Latin-American talent. USA media covers all boxers.. not just American born boxers. It’ll continue to be the Mecca for boxing. What’s happening with boxing in Mexico & the UK?

Boxing has been in a bit of a slump in the US for quite awhile so its not surprising. I do feel like we are in a peak rn with a lot of mainstream attention on boxing like maybe we haven't seen since SRL's era or at least Tyson's era so I'd bet in 5-10yrs we will see a lot of guys coming up again from the amateur game. Granted ik a lot of hardcore fans hate the novelty fights, but there is no denying the outreach they have with non-boxing fans who will become boxing fans AND boxers is much wider than the fights we wanna see.

I also think murders in poor areas has had an impact on US boxing. I suspect if a guy like Mike Tyson was born 30yrs later than he was born he'd have been shot dead in the streets for beating someone's ass so its a solid bet the next Tyson or Ali or Louis WAS shot dead in the streets over petty bs.

There’s not much tbh. A few young US fighters to keep an eye on at 160 or above would be:

Elijah Garcia at 160. Diego Pacheco at 168. You can maybe throw Jared Anderson in at HW too.

I don't know why people always mention basketball stealing boxing talent. Most basketball players are gangly messes who could only play basketball or volleyball or another height biased sport.

Guards in the normal height range could be good in boxing but aside from the rare Barkley type most non guard basketball players are accidents waiting to happen.
