Comments Thread For: Hearn Floats Kabayel, Hrgovic, Wallin, Charr as Possible Opponents for Anthony Joshua's December Fight

Promoter Eddie Hearn has a tentative shortlist of capable opponents for Anthony Joshua's next fight. The Matchroom head named Agit Kabayel, Filip Hrgovic, and Otto Wallin has possible foes for his star client, who has, according to Hearn, expressed a keen desire to fight in December.

Wallin or Hrgovic are not great but would be just about acceptable opponents.

Unless £ddie comes out with a financially blinding deal I can't see Hrgovic risking his IBF #1 mandatory position.

Keep Hrgovic name out yet mouth Eddie, you know very well AJ won't fight him. It's one of the other bums he will end up fighting, and you all know it.

so it'll be Kabayel or Charr, it's so obvious Hearn will not risk Joshua in any dangerous fight where he might get sparked out before cashing out against Wilder.

Says the man who said AJ-Wilder was a done deal for Dec and that being the reason they turned down Fury’s 60/40 offer.

If he's not fighting Emperor Zhang then nobody is interested.

Hearn doing his usual trick of giving a list of dangerous contenders with a couple of journeyman sneaked in, obviously Joshua will fight one of the journeymen.

My guess is Charr so AJ can win a fake belt.

Ok, it's clear - the chicken heart will go against the biggest bum, so I am biased between Charr or Kabayel. In the meantime will pretend he is ready to face Fury and Wilder, but they avoid him.

Why "float" anything? Just do a deal and announce the opponent.
