    Super Six Prediction Thread

With the super six fast approaching, I figured I'd start a thread for people to post their tourney predictions. Here are mine...

    1) Jermain Taylor vs Arthur Abraham: Taylor SD12 (+2 pts)

The few people who saw Abraham fight Lajuan Simon know that he is more limited that people believe. Simon at times was able to outbox Abaraham and I believe that Taylor will be able to do the same. I am a bit worried that Jermain could get robbed, and a European judge will definetly score the fight for AA, no matter how bad he loses.

    2) Andre Dirrell vs Carl Froch: Dirrell UD 12 (+2 pts)

I think the Matrix wins by wide UD here. Froch was down big to Taylor before the kockout. The difference in this fight is that Dirrell isn't getting KOed, and will be far too quick for Froch, easily outboxing him in front of his hometown fans.

    3) Andre Ward vs Mikkel Kessler: Kessler KO5 (+3 pts)

Kessler won't come to Oakland looking for a decision and I think will be far too much too soon for S.O.G. My guess is that Kessler stuns Ward early in the fight and Ward will stop boxing and get into a fight. I think many people are picking the wrong Americans (Taylor and Dirrell) to get KOed in the 1st round

    4) Andre Ward vs Jermain Taylor: Taylor UD 12 (+2 pts)

I think Jermain wins a close UD over Ward, winning the early rounds and then tiring late. I don't think Andre will embarass himself, but Taylor will do enough to win, shocking everyone w/ a 2-0 start.

    5) Mikkel Kessler vs Carl Froch: Kessler KO4 (+3 pts)

I think Kessler flat-out dominates Froch, proving that he is no Calzaghe. Like in the Taylor fight, Froch will go down early, but I expect Kessler to advance to 2-0 w/ 2 KOs.

    6) Andre Direll vs Arthur Abraham: Dirrell UD12 (+2 pts)

Dirrell gets another favorable mathcup in my mind and will easily outbox AA. Abraham may get Andre down and sometime in the fight, but it will not be enough to win.

    7) Andre Dirrell vs Andre Ward: Dirrell UD12 (+2 pts)

The underdog Andre Dirrell advances to 3-0 beating Andre Ward who has lost some confidence in his last 2 fights. One Olympian advances at 3-0 while the other falls to 0-3.

    8) Mikkel Kessler vs Jermain Taylor: Kessler KO8 (+3 pts)

Taylor's win streak comes to an end in a fight similar to Taylor-Pavlik I. Taylor comes on strong early, but Kessler eventually wares him down and knocks him out for the victory.

    9) Arthur Abraham vs Carl Froch: Abraham KO 10(+3 pts)

Abraham defeats Froch late in a war for the last spot. The difference in the fight will be Abraham's granite chin, which will allow him to take a multitude of big shots, before landing one late that ends the fight.

    Semi Fianals

    1) Mikkel Kessler vs Arthur Abraham: Kessler SD12

In a competitive fight, Kessler is taken the distance for the first time in the tourney. Abraham, with confidence from his last fight, comes out strong, but Kessler outlasts him, winning the last rounds. Abraham takes one judge's scorecard.

    2) Andre Dirrell vs Jermain Taylor: Dirrell UD 12

Dirrell end JTs tourney run, wining a wide UD vs the slower Taylor.

    Finals

Andre Dirrell vs Mikkel Kessler: Dirrell UD 12

Dirrell wins a close UD over Kessler similar to the way Calzaghe did years back. Dirrell will hit Kessler w/ a lot of shots while Kessler lands the more meaningful shots. In the end though Dirrell outworks Kessler and wins the titles.

respect all the fighters for joining in the most important thing in boxing since the old days. I fancy kessler to dominate all the above, kessler vs froch would be a war, they both have huge bombs and great chins and are exiting to watch.

the only concern for us is abraham's height and size.

i think his skill , power , toughness and chin will be enough to compensate though.

Plus, he'll be at his peak as it reaches the semi finals/final.

That's an excellent break down of each fight. Do you mind if I paste it into the super six prediction thread I have going?
