Catterall is basically the McKinson of 140lb. I know Linares is tougher than the usual tune-up, but Catterall simply lacked the intensity to force the issue and get him outta there. Matchroom needs to be careful with how they match him because he can make for boring TV. Gato is not main event material.

The pure boxer vs. pressure fighter is a classic match-up. Matias doesn't stop coming, so it will force Catterall to be more aggressive.

LMAO, what a comparison! spot on. I'd say maybe has slight better foot placement, jab and hits harder than mckinson

I was thinking the fight was boring because of the Spanish(Spain) Comentators, guess it actually boring.

I agree that he's more capable and has a higher ceiling than McKinson, but will he get the opponents he needs to ascend?

That was a piss poor fight, at least Catterall can hold his head high knowing he is one of only 3 fighters to take Jorge the distance considering all his other losses were by KO by smaller fighters lmao.

After I howled about how used up Linares is and Jack makes him competitive. That's the drawback about geezer hunting. It looks terrible when they don't fall over.

Catterall carried the aging veteran out of kindness. Lopez, Regis, Matias and Haney shouldn't expect the same.
