With showtime boxing dead as i predicted months before it happened. We now have espn and dazn only. With boxing coming close to only one main network as i envision which will be espn. We could see something similar to the ufc where there are no more network issues to making fights and the best fight the best.
Counter argument to this is that they will still not make the fights happen with 1 network. Highly unlikely. Two reason why.
1. Promoters will have less to fight over since it's all under 1 network. So the network excuse which is the biggest excuse to making fights will be gone.
2. Network will not pay fighters or promoters to fight bums and will demand the best fight the best. Fighters will need to fight now to make the money they want. Promoters will be desperate for money also. They'll have two options. Either make the fight and get paid or not be televised and fight for crumbs. Multiple networks was the worst thing to ever happen to boxing. It allowed people to pad their records while fighting bums and being overpaid for it.
