Fury had the whole year to fight Usyk. If Usyk thinks he needs some more time now, let it be.
Why should Usyk fight in december? because Fury says so?

They build themselves up to physical peak in an 11 week training program then wind down for a week and after the rest they will be the best they can be.
Sports has evolved and if I was in his shoes id want the best chance but hey that's just me

Fury seems to view Usyk as the kind of fighter that could give him a bad night. Fury is a B-52 up against Usyk’s F-16. Of course in a fight like this, you can never tell how it’ll go. If Fury connects upside Usyk’s head, it could all end right there. But Usyk is wily and has astonishing endurance for a man his size. He might dance around Fury all night, slapping him on the lips and then darting nimbly out of the way. If it comes off, it’ll be one of the most intriguing fights in a very long time.

It's good to see people are starting to see more and more what a vile liar and cheater Usyk was throughout his entire career: the guy with a huge amount of low-blow complaints. He ducked the fight in December 2022 under the same "injuries" excuse, but was magically healed and actively training in January 2023. Then he chickened out in April, trying to throw it on Fury. His culmination was being KOed by a legal body shot from a fighter with a lot of flaws in his game, but saved by a known to be an incompetent and corrupt referee. On top of everything, Usyk stalls the division for too long and the mandatories are unable to have a title shot.

No, only a top 5 ATG. Sad.
This is a reason why boxing is dying among youngsters. Losing a fight is SO BAD now. Really? It only means boxers aren't challenging themselves.
99%+ of all great boxers have lost fights. Look it up. And they are still HOF, ATG, whatever. Great boxers fighting other great boxers will lose once in while.
Good boxers fighting taxi cab drivers can go 45-0. Which is better for the sport? Great fights, or pushovers?
So he had nothing to lose then

Only a boxing match. Not the respect of his peers and critics who understood losing a fight once in a while isn't a big deal, assuming he did his best and didn't lay down.
A loss would be nothing special to him because he’s lost before.
Usyk has more to lose.
